A day in the life of a Sprinkler Service Technician can look like this:

  • Performing routine inspection, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler/standpipe systems and related equipment
  • Conducting flow tests, fire pump tests, hydrostatic tests, main drain tests, trip test dry valves, and test hydrants

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • 2-3 years of related experience
  • Regular and Timely Attendance
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) without a break
  • Position requires bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing
  • Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests
