Job Description:
The Data Analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining custom reports, building dashboards, and conducting ad hoc analysis that influence decisions made by leadership across the Company(s). This is a hybrid position based in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Essential Job Functions:
- Create thoughtful and compelling dashboards to monitor KPIs and performance for current and future processes
- Monitor, identify and investigate changes in KPIs and provide insights into the underlying cause of such changes
- Perform in-depth analyses to provide answers to specific business questions and acquire a deep understanding of the business
- Work closely with departmental leaders to help automate and optimize insightful reporting distributed to all levels of leadership.
- Effectively present research and report findings to leadership team
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information that is being provided by carefully and continually scrutinizing the data to ensure the right information is portrayed in the reports being delivered
- Assist with the development of new tools and processes for data analysis across the company
- Check and debug any data-related issues to ensure accurate tracking and data integrity
- Create Stored Procedures, Functions and Views
- Proactively identify query improvements
- Recommend indexes for performance enhancements
- Conduct a variety of ad hoc data analysis
- Document current and future reporting processes
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Proficient with SQL query language
- Fundamental understanding of SSRS and Crystal Reports
- Advanced proficiency in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
- Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data.
- Strategy-oriented and has the ability to think outside the box for innovative solutions.
- Experience in financial modeling and profitability
- Ability to automate data extraction and consolidation at scale
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple concurrent projects
- Strong written, verbal and customer service skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail
Education/Experience:
- 3+ years of experience utilizing SQL Server
- 3+ years of experience in both creating and maintaining complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in a multi-database environment
- Strongly Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or related field; or combination of relevant education, experience and training
