Job Description:

The overall objective of this position is to lead the inside sales efforts for Service Agreement renewals to achieve targeted metrics, conversion of deficiency (equipment repair)reports to repair orders, assist the outside sales team in closing business, and contact existing customers in order to retain inspection business performed by KPI. Activities involve interaction among the members of the Deficiency Team, Field Team Leaders, Construction Project Managers, Customer Service, Technicians, Sales team, and other current or prospective customers.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Contract Renewal Process
  • Perform timely Maintenance Agreement [contract] renewal for all targeted customers.
  • Achieve targeted revenue goals by maintaining or increasing contract retention.
  • Review accounts regularly with Renewal Team for add-on sales opportunities.
  • Point of Contact for “Diamond” accounts to respond to contractual inquiries.
  • Sales Lead Generation – items provided by Field Technicians
  • Follow-up on all add-on sales opportunities provided by the Field Technician labor force.
  • Determine up-sell opportunities with the existing customer base.
  • Add-on sales and services to Existing Customer Base.
  • Review Technical paperwork (as needed) in software and process for billing
  • Update relevant quote log [database] to track, measure the number of sales [closes] / losses.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in inside sales and customer retention programs.
  • Knowledge of fire protection industry helpful but not required.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear, type and operate office technology – computers, printers, copy machines, calculators, et. al.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Regular and Timely Attendance
  • Must pass initial and random substance abuse tests
