Essential Job Functions:

  • Conduct collections calls for all accounts past due
  • Respond to incoming calls from customers related to invoice issues
  • Credit processing to include investigating issues, completion of credit slips, updating credit log and processing credits through the accounting system
  • Offsetting credits
  • Enter and update the backlog on a daily basis when required from credit checking quoted repairs
  • Process cash receipts payments in addition to credit card processing
  • Update deficiency log and backlog when required
  • Conduct credit checks for new accounts, quoted repair orders, inspection work orders and construction jobs
  • Set up of new accounts and/or new locations to existing accounts in Maxwell
  • Verify accuracy of service reports and address any discrepancies
  • Enter relevant information into “take note” by appropriate category and set reminders on the take notes screen for collection calls and payments promised
  • Updating payment promised reports and A/R aging reports
  • Understand and execute new customer accounts including payment terms and agreements
  • Review work orders to determine hold status or to apply hold status
  • Process Parts billing (K-orders)
  • Process service billing as needed
  • Backup Front Desk reception when scheduled

    Education/Experience:

    • Required: High School Diploma or GED
    • Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Accounting Related Field
    • Required: Math Proficiency
    • Preferred: 2 + years related experience
    • Advanced proficiency in basic Microsoft Office

    • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus
    • Ability to distinguish colors and use hands for repetitive fine manipulation frequently
